REPLICA APOLLO SPACESUIT WORKSHOP FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS
PUPILS WILL LEARN ..
About the lives of Mary Seacole, Florence Nightingale and Edith Cavell.
For Edith Cavell, the topic of first aid and medical care in the First World War is covered in great detail in our WW1 stretcher bearer workshop, which can be combined as a half day with another workshop based on another person in this planning. For example, you could have another half day from either a Neil Armstrong 'spaceman' experience; a Roman Britain Boudica workshop; a Winston Churchill 'Blitz' workshop or a Queen Victoria Inventions workshop – more details of all these workshops at www.balestraschoolworkshops.co.uk.
