SUGGESTED EXTERNAL RESOURCES:
(please note that we hold no responsibility for external resources and that it is up to you to check for suitability)
a short non-fiction description of each person / diary entries for both persons at key moments in their life / letters from each person / story from the point of view of someone watching key moments in their lives / small non-fiction fact cards (similar to enclosed profiles) / instructions on how to walk on the moon / write a list if things you would take on an exploration trip.
Find key places on map from both people e.g. Cape Kennedy / Bahamas / compare the surfaces of the moon and earth / try to answer questions such as ‘why are there no plants on the moon?’ or ‘why didn’t Columbus know what was on the other side of the sea?’.
